NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION - 2024-2025

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL - 2024-2025

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens February 1.
If you have questions about registering for school, contact the school office.

For the 2023 - 2024 school year, Hardisty School is full in planned classes in Grade 2 and Grades 5 to 9 in the regular program AND Grades 7 to 9 in the Logos Christian program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests in Grades 7 to 9 in the Logos Christian program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Grade 2 and Grades 5 to 9 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Kindergarten registration begins on February 1, 2024. Families register online for the 2024-25 school year. Learn more about Kindergarten registration on epsb.ca.

Kindergarten registrations are not based on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools can only assign students to classes after pre-enrolment closes on March 22.

When assigning students, the principal is responsible for organizing classes to meet the needs of all students within the school.

On your registration form, parents are asked to indicate either Regular or Logos Christian Kindergarten for students registering in Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.

Kindergarten Age Requirement
Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2024 may register in Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year. The Alberta government changed the entry age for students registering in Kindergarten, beginning in 2020-21.

Edmonton Public Schools’ Logos Christian Program 2024-25 Enrolment Information

Are you ready to have your child be part of a faith-based, non-denominational Christian approach to learning? The following information will help you register/enrol in your local Logos Christian program school.

Step 1: Prepare documents

Prepare digital copies of the following documents:

  • legal proof of the student’s name, citizenship/immigration status and birthdate; and
  • the address for where you live.

Step 2: Complete registration or pre-enrolment

Step 3: Complete the Edmonton Logos Society documentation (ex., Society membership)

  • The mission of the Edmonton Logos Society is to actively support Logos schools to effectively train and equip students through Christ-centered teaching to be the “salt” and “light of the world” (Matthew 5: 13,14). Go to the Edmonton Logos Society website to learn more and to complete the membership forms.

Step 4: After March 22

  • The school will create their class lists and share with families whether they were accepted into planned classes or not, by April 12, 2024.
  • If the student was not accepted due to full in planned classes, the school will work with you to discuss options and provide a form to indicate your second choice of school. Your child will be eligible to attend their designated school or any other Division school with available space.

ONLINE LEARNING AVAILABLE AT ARGYLL CENTRE
